Stephen was born March 25th, 1955, in Jersey, Channel Islands.
The beloved son of Beryl and Harvey Pickett.
He came to Miami Beach to live and enjoy the sun and the sea.
Handsome, charismatic, popular always inclusive and supportive.
Musically talented and creative.
He was caring, thoughtful and giving.
A character and personality unique to himself.
He loved his mum, he loved his family, he loved his friends.
He is survived by his mother Beryl, his siblings Michael, Paul, Sandra and his spouse Louis Bondi.
He will always be in our thoughts,

1946 photo of the Russian Bear Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge located at 929 Lincoln Road in Miami Beach. In 1939 owner Alex Danaroff moved the Russian Bear from 1627 Euclid Ave to Lincoln Rd. They offered dinners from $1.00, lunches from $.60 and even included an orchestra and show for entertainment. In 1947 Danaroff sold the restaurant and moved to Beverly Hills. The Russian Bear was renamed Pierre's Russian Bear. A legal battle between the owners ensued and the name was changed again in 1949 to the White Bear. Very pretty ! Love the different colors of depression glass.
I collect the green depression glass as it lights up under a black light. Great stuff and Lincoln Rd vendors often have a unique piece.
