1946 photo of the Russian Bear Restaurant and Cocktail Lounge located at 929 Lincoln Road in Miami Beach. In 1939 owner Alex Danaroff moved the Russian Bear from 1627 Euclid Ave to Lincoln Rd. They offered dinners from $1.00, lunches from $.60 and even included an orchestra and show for entertainment. In 1947 Danaroff sold the restaurant and moved to Beverly Hills. The Russian Bear was renamed Pierre's Russian Bear. A legal battle between the owners ensued and the name was changed again in 1949 to the White Bear. They were out of business within the year.
